Who is Georgianne?
Georgianne is an art historian that loves to read, make art, and of course, explore the world. She appreciates learning about global cultures, customs, and eating local food. One of the best pieces of advice she has received, and continues to follow, is know how to say your coffee order wherever you travel. While she has made some solo travels, she enjoys travelling with friends and family, especially with her husband, Ramón.
In addition, while travelling the world is an exciting endeavor, she considers local travel equally invigorating. Her home bases have included Long Island, NY; Northern Virginia; and for her master’s, Rome, Italy.
For those who read this blog, enjoy the ride and continue to try new things. Travelling far or to new places can seem daunting, difficult, or even impossible. Sure, new things always seem a bit scary, but it is important to keep expanding your boundaries. Before travelling, research, prepare, and have fun along the way once you are there!
For art related to her adventures, please feel free to visit her Etsy shop GeosTravelPaintings, as she shares handmade artwork inspired by sites she has visited.
For more travel content that has not made it to the blog, feel free to visit the author’s Buy Me a Coffee page. This page is equivalent to a social media platform that provides travel tips in a variety of formats. The page is free to visit; if you would like to support the blog, you can donate “a cappuccino” to the author as well.
Also, a special thanks to Ramón for designing and maintaining this website, along with the occasional photography he provides.
